Almost impossible to ship without building a padded wood crate for it unless you happened to buy hood that replaced it and still have that box/padding. Then the large size results in a high shipping cost.

Yeah youd need to buy a little padding to wrap it with but shipping isnt that bad would be around 50 bucks to ship through greyhound if he has a bus station near him.
