Good Story!

So yesterday I'm dead asleep in my anthropology class when I hear a male voice go "I need to speak to Zach Panzarella" (thats my real last name).

My teacher is a female.

I look up and it's a cop standing the front door. I'm like, what the hell could I of possibly done. I go outside and the cop goes, "Your call rolled out and hit another car, you need to exchange information" I asked how bad it was and he told me he hadn't seen it yet. So the cop drives me down to the parking lot, all the while i'm wondering if I forgot to put my e-brake on, and how bad the damage is. I'm also deciding on new rear bumpers and a new exhaust since I'm counting on it being ruined. I get to the car and its dark out so i can barely see my car, all I see is a cop car up against it so it won't roll anymore.

I run up to my car like a mother that lost her 2 year old baby in the mall. I run up to the cop and asked what happened and how bad it was, and this is what the cop says...

"You're ******* lucky people like your car kid. You pulled your e-brake, but not enough and you left the car in neutral. So what happened is your car was rolling back, about to slam into this Denali when a student ran up to it and held it and screamed for help. When I got here there had been 7 kids holding your car for 15 to 20 minutes. You're so lucky you have a nice car people want to save, now pull it up."

My face was like

Basically what happened on my end, is it was 6pm, i was tired going off two hours of sleep, parked in a new part of the school i'd never parked at before, didn't notice the slope of the lot and didn't think to put the car in gear. Needless to say, i got INSANELY lucky and I'm so blessed, and got an amazing story out of it! :D And my Veilside 8 and borla exhaust lives to see another day :D

The exact same thing happened to me. Did I tell you that story, and you just decided to make it sound like it happened to you? Dude. Don't be stealing my story.

Okay, wait... this is college. They held his car for 15-20 minutes? Um. How about putting a couple rocks or bricks or something behind the tires? Must be a community college.

I'll be pulling my ebrake a little harder now. Kids at my college would watch it roll away.

Lucky. Too bad the folks who saved your car weren't around for you to thank them.

Do you usually put your car in gear, but had a brain fart at a bad time?

I forget occasionally, but i NEVER forget when I notice i'm on a slope or something. It just didn't hit me at the time that the parking lot was slopped. I have school from 9am to 9pm on Mondays. Needless to say, i'm on autodrive most of the day.
