Going to install my injectors today. One flows slightly more than the other so I figure I'll put the higher flowing one on the "more fragile" rotor. Its not much, but hey...every little bit helps

injector is not the problem.

IMO, the path of the coolant flows is (which cannot be resolved ...)

 

I'm not trying to use this as a cure all.... This is a buffer should I go a tad lean when I turn up the boost.

Its an old LS1 trick, I did the same on my vette. On those the #7 cylinder runs just slightly leaner due to the intake design. If you got bad enough detonation to fry a piston, it would almost always be the #7. So we would put our highest flowing injector there to give a little more breathing room incase you lean out.

It may not make a bit of difference on our engines...but it couldnt hurt either
