so this is basically a warrenty question, but i also wanna see how my car fairs on the mileage scale. so she turned over 160k this afternoon. does that mean im officially done with warrenty? it had a new motor at 88k. ive taken good care of the motor so im not really worried. any info would appreciated. rx8s rock. i love mine.

so its expired. now what? what would a dealer charge for a new motor? how long will we be able to get motors from mazda?

 

Don't know what a dealer would charge, but I'm sure that you'll always be able to buy a motor from them. If my warranty was up, I would never go to Mazda again. There are plenty of other good rotary mechanics and re-builders who are cheaper.
