Why hello everyone! The Big ***** Puddle Lights! are back on group buy!

I've been trying to get these mass produced and they've been updated with some reflective coating.

What are the "Big ***** Puddle Lights!" you say? Well, they're everything you need to light up the ground on the driver and passenger side doors. They are connected directly to the courtesy lights on your doors so they'll fade on and off when you unlock/open and lock/close your doors. See photos below.

You may say the following: Well, Will (hey that's me!) I'm not comfortable working on my car. Hey that's a-ok! That's why there's an installation PDF that walks you completely through the installation process. From start to finish! The general installation time is about an hour and a half. 2 hours, if you're drinking and/or taking a smoke break while installing these. They may take longer if you're getting food or doing #2 (in that case, print the installation manual out and it makes good reading material!).


Each package costs $75 ($70 + $5 shipping. PayPal charges already included).

There's already INCLUDED a pair of LEDs but if you want another, it's $8 per pair of LEDs.

The contents consist of the following:
- Pair of Big *****! Puddle Light assembly (Left/Right)
- 2x 194 bulb hi-power LEDs (LEDs from vleds.com) with choice of color: Amber, Blue, Red or White
- 2x 194 bulb housings with wire
- 2x Philips screws
- 10x Zip ties
- 4x Vampire clips
- Installation manual

on the linked page it shows 194 bulb color, do you have to purchase that additionally with the puddle light kit? (does the puddle light kit come with the bulb?) i noticed that bulb is a additional $8.00

I'm going to wildly guess that it comes with the 194 bulbs, and the second option is to purchase additional bulbs.

Otherwise, I'm going to have to go back and buy additional bulbs o_o

 

They both describe 194 leds. I want to order these i guess ill just wait for a response

This will be running for awhile. No worries. Last time I stopped because I got tired of making each one. Now I can get them mass produced and have an abundance of these right now.

 

will it fit an 09? where do i get the installation pdf? can i see the pdf beforehand to see how involved it will be?

Here's Derwankel's old manual. Same installation. Slightly different puddle light assembly but fits the same way. I'll be updating PDF with my photos and installation notes.

As far as fitting an '09, I'm not sure. Are you in the So. Cali area? or is anyone with the new revision of the RX-8 in the So. Cali area I can take a look at their car?

Installation manual is pretty detailed. Not too hard, but not too easy. I would so jump at your offer for a free install but unfortunately I'm not in SoCal. Please let me know if it does fit in an 09 so I can place my order. Thanks.
