I bought it like 2 years ago and never had it installed and at this point it dosent look like I will ever get around to it. Its still in the box with the bubble wrap that it came in. I am just selling it for wht I payed for it. Come with everything including ties etc... $100 shipped. Does not have instructions but I dont know if they even came with it and if you know anything then you know you can get them on here in the DIY section.

TY.... I wish I could put it in my car but I am not about to try and take that stereo out myself. I already have a nice ipod kit in my car so I guess I will just stick with it.. I figure I could buy my midget something nice for his birthday with the money, time to stop buying toys for me now. LOL

It will, mine is an 04 s well. Its made by Mazda so it should work with any RX8.

No. A 3.5mm jack is like what you plug headphones into. This just has a connector for the bottom of the iPod.

 

you need to confirm this because many auxiliary inputs require the newer head unit firmware, greater than 9.55. my 2004 has a firmware less than 9.55, which limits my options. so far the only thing ive found that should work is the auxmod. i emailed them and they confirmed it.

Yeah, this is a kit you hardwire to your stereo system so you are able to control the ipod through your steering wheel. It integrates the ipod into your stereo system. Once installed you dont see any wiring or anything, the ipod stays in your glovebox (if thats where you decide to hide it)... This particualr kit I have has been installed in an 04 RX8 and worked perfectly. I just got it and never had it installed so I have decided I would rather just sell it and buy something nice for my son. Still have not recieved a paypal payment so its still for sell if anyone is interested.
