well my 04 rx8 engine looks kind a dirty, and I was wondering how should I wash it? should I cover anything?

 

yes you should. you can cover electrical connections, your alternator, and your air filter if its exposed. i think ive seen someone on here use aluminum foil to cover them.

best thing to do is wipe down your bay every so often to keep it clean once you wash it down. mine was never excessively dirty so i just do a wipe down and mine looks good.

 

just cover your ignition coils with a bag and intake! done it multiple times
