So my car has been sitting for about 2 months
I went to start it and the battery was dead so I charged it up and discovered it was flooded... Then I ran the deflooding procedure and about a half hour later I was good to go.

Took it to get new tires yesterday and everything was fine but then this morning when I started it my CEL came on and has stayed solid. I tightened the gas tank but still the light stays. From the moment I turn it on to the moment I shut her off.

The thing is that there is no symptoms. Plenty of power no weird idle... just a scary little light that makes my heart sink...

Any ideas?

 

Get the codes read. Then come back here with them.

 

Are there any symptoms to go with the CEL? Buy a code reader, they're pretty inexpensive. Read the code and if it doesn't seem too serious, reset it and see if it comes back. Sometimes they're caused by one off situations. Clearing flooding/sitting might cause such a one off event.
