Anyone w/stock appearance pkg., front splash guards, no spoiler, no strakes?

My 8 has the appearance package and no spoiler or strakes. I was thinking of adding the front splash guards/mudguards.

Anyone have an 8 with this setup?

The closest I have come to seeing an 8 in this configuration is Adamrotor's sharp Winning Blue with a spoiler.

Thanks for your pics. No Speed sides. I think the front mudflaps help extend the rear of the front wheel arch to match the extensions added by the appearance package pieces.

Did you put yours on yourself?

uh... no... but as far as i'm concerned... the front mudflaps just requires cutting off some plastic from the bottom and it's all screwing

it's easy to install, but if you drive like I do you'll end up having to cut an inch or so off the bottoms of the guards..... (assuming you have an aggressive drop) They will scrape non stop when cornering.

Install looks pretty easy except for that rubber part that needs cutting. No drop on my car - just standard issue so I shouldn't have a problem cornering hopefully.

^ Not sure why I didn't notice Aipex8's 8. Probably b/c I'm always looking at the great LED lights on his car.

His looks lowered a tad?

BTW there should be several 8's with this setup or very similar. I have the appearance package with front splash guards, no spoiler, no strakes but with aftermarket front lip.

I swapped my trunk with OE spoiler with another member because I think it looks considerably better without. I like some aftermarket spoilers but the OE not so much.

I think a lot of people would be willing to trade to get a trunk with a spoiler. Personally, I like spoiler less unless its a trunk lip spoiler that fits on the edge. And without a spoiler you're probably saving say 10LBs of weight.

The OE spoiler does not weigh much. It took me a long time to find someone willing to swap as well It is expensive to remove the spoiler, have the 6 holes welded shut and trunk painted. If you can find someone to swap with then that is the way to go.

Had Zoom44 update the thread title - thanks Zoom44. I should have mentioned front splash guards.
