Parker - Do you have the ability to manufacture additional pieces if there is a strong enough demand? Reason I ask; I would like the Black CF around the door handles, and the inside part of the radio (where some folks have their MP3 Player). Thanks in advance.

Wow, that aluminum stuff looks great! My only concern is how easy is it to scratch?

IPT,

What would you recommend to clean the aluminum? I would say a simple Windex solution, but seems that you guys might have something better.

I tried to get IPT to post some better pics since the ones he put up looked pretty bad to me, but after 2 months and a bit of waiting and msging I gave up. WHealy did the blue CF kit on his car though.

Another company on ebay sells what look like the exact kit for similar money. They are sending me a sample of the alum- one coated- one uncoated- they have done several 8 and have a retrun policy - you have to pay a 15% restocking fee and shipping.

If IPT would let me order it with no resotcking fee if I didn;'t like it (I'll pay shipping both ways) I would consider buying and looking at it before sticking it down.

Looking at IPT's photos of it it doesn't look great- but that could be the picture- however the 300Z in aluminum looks great in the picture- maybe it has to do with the 300z's dash being square edges and the 8's being rounded- making the alum look more stuck on.

I think alot of these kits could be sold- but someone's got to start the ball rolling by letting we members actually see the stuff installed- or play with it in our own cars for no penalty.

Maybe I'm just a boring guy, but personally it just seems like too much aluminum for my taste. I like a nice aluminum accent to a dash but thats a little overboard.

I did take more pictures but it turned out like the first

it is just the curves of the RX8 dash that makes the picture look diffrent

I can't part a kit out it has to be sold complete

Here is another picture of Healys carbon fiber kit way better pictures
