Northeast and Mid-Atlantic AutoXers: Philly Wachovia Center event

Philly region has a tentative agreement to run in one of the Wachovia Center lots, and is planning to stage a trial event on 11/22. however, we need numbers to put on a good show. the lot is big and smooth (see pic below). It's literally right next to I-95, so it's easy for you NY and DC folks. Plus, Philly region runs a great event.

Come on out and support another high-quality east coast lot w/ some of the best drivers in the country! You know you want to try out those STX and CS setups for next season, or get one more event in your old setup!

our lot is the bottom of the pic; the full width is available for the course (we'll grid/paddock in one of the lots on the side of the Center). info:

DAMN, this is 2 days before I'm back in Massachusetts. I passed the word on to a couple buddies though who will look into going and spread the word.

Yes the event is open to anyone. But no its not free, the charges I believe vary by event location for Philly. But for a range I would guess that 30-40 for a SCCA member and 50-60 for non-scca member that would include a weekend membership that can be applied to an annual membership. Check that Philly SCCA thread in the OP for the exact details when they become available.

^^^yup. more details (and online pre-registration) should be up soon. If you're planning to go, please vote in the poll or chime in on the forum so we have an idea of numbers.

d'oh. hopefully you'll have more chances to run there in 2010. I believe we're hoping to host a Pro in 2011. our guys have done an amazing job with site acquisition over the past several years. hard to believe we were down to 1 tiny lot and a shaky stadium site in Maryland at one point.

Bump! Course designer will be former XP National Champ and Evo School instructor Dave Newman. Should be a killer gut-checking course!
