Aluminum dash?

Just wondering what everyone thought of enhancing the dash a little. Possibly with aluminum or something.

Below is a diagram of what would be accented.

I'd have to see the finished product before I can give an honest opinion. It sounds like a good idea, though. But, then again so were electric cars and discount bungee-jumping I wouldn't over-do it on the aluminum if you decide to go that route.

as long as it doesn't look as cheap as the G35 aluminum center console then it's fine with me...but that was the one BIG gripe i had with the G35, the cheap interior quality

My mother has the g35c with willow(light beige) interior. It sort of looks strange with the aluminum. I think black with aluminum would turn out better. I dunno. I have yet to get my 8 which will be in about a month so I'll be doing more research. Maybe I can find someone with the finished product. Hopefully it doesn't turn out too gaudy.

Just so you guys know that woodashfactory does not use real metal in is synthetic ... and has a thick resin coat on it

and there carbon quality is not there

check the buys we have for this

We have real aluminum with no clearcoat

in the vendor forum

thank you IPT, I will take it under extreme consideration. Of course...it would be nice to see the finished product to sway my decision towards buying.

Parker - I left a question for you in your vendor thread but I'll ask it here also. Can we buy individual pieces of the kit or do we have to purchase the whole kit?
