DSC/ABS Malfunctioning after jump start

So my wife killed the battery in the 8 by leaving the map light on, so I had to hook up the battery charger to get it started.

After firing up the car though, the dsc is completely off. I've tried resetting the ECU but no dice. Checked all the fuses and they are all good. Anyone see this problem before? it's an 05 touring with no mods, 42k on the odo.

You need to recalibrate the steering. If i remember correctly, you need to turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, and then all the way to the right. then turn off your car, and turn it back on. DSC and Traction Control lights should disappear..

check your owners manual for more details.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I didn't know there was a DSC reset procedure - I"m used to the no frills electronics of my RX7 LOL. I will do that today that must be what it is.

That fixed it. That'll teach me not to look in the manual first. Thx again guys.
