Ok 2004 MT 56k has been serviced through mazda up until I got it at 53k. I accidentally redlined the car at 9.5 or so today but the CEL came on a couple hours later the car seemed to bog and felt a bit weird then the light lit up. All I want to know is where can I get the code cleared or checked around Tacoma/Seattle area for free I think it might be something emissions wise which would suck because I haven't had it checked or tested for that yet even though I'm going to register it soon. Checked the car after I got back which was 2 miles later no weird noises or red hot glowing things so not sure here stumped.

 

Local auto stores like Autozone will read it for free.
An emission code won't be bad news... usually just means the gas cap wasn't tightened.
