Thumbs down Dull spot of paint on hood fck

Ok so today I tried to use my mazda touch up paint on my car well I thought it looked like runny crap after it dried so I used some rubbing alcohol to get most of it off but now Im left with a noticeable dull spot I used some spray on wax to see if that would work nothing. So some suggestions please?

Well like I said the touch up paint dried and I removed some of it but it left a dull spot ill look into the 3m polish i mean its not that the paint is missing its that the clear coat is gone i think

I doubt you took the clear coat off; rubbing alcohol cannot remove cured clear coat. It will dull it like what happened to you. In fact, paint thinner doesn't remove cured clear coat *very* easily. It is harder than you think.
