Brought my car to the dealership to see if they would replace my cat even though i'm 1000 miles over the 80,000 mile cat warranty but they've decided to not cover it (no surprise). I even talked directly with mazda to see if something could be done but to no avail, which explains why i'm here looking for a stock cat. They want me to pay $1,632 for the parts and labor which is outrageous.

Anybody want to part with their cat?

im assuming hiflow cats are quieter than no cats correct? but will i still get my pretty flames?

 

not necessarily quieter... rp supercat at my ap dual rez were pretty much identical. and yes, you'll still get flames with a supercat, just not as big
