Newb question on winter wheels...

Hi guys and gals, I hve been on here for a few months researching Rx8's and everything about them. I might be buying one in the next few weeks but a I have one question about wheel size?

I have the winter wheels from my protege Mp3 that have the same bolt pattern 114.3x5. They are 14" diameter... Will these fit? If not what is the smallest diameter that will fit ober the brake assembly? I searched but didnt find what I was looking for, maybe one of you can help me out.

P.S. Please dont flame me for this newb question...haha

14" rims will not fit. What are the stock rims? If they are 18" the smallest you can go is 17" rims

You will have more, and less expensive tire options if you go 17". If you have the space keeping a set of mounted winter tires has many plusses.
