Love the rims on those. Can't be too sure, but I believe they're GEMS Diamonds?

It doesn't look like those even fit in the wheel wells.

They don't have speed bumps over there?

They look good but not practical, it will rub the wheel well especially when you put 2 people in the back seat.

That car looks lowered with aftermarket springs...and the offset for the rims is greater than stock.

I do like the look however:D .......but as Brothervoodoo mentioned, slightly unrealistic for everyday bumps and such. Those tires cost alot of money to get the sidewalls marred up by the wheel openings.

I come from owning old-school Japanese cars, and I love the fat lip on those rims. Very nice.

Those 19's actually look nice. I wouldn't have lowered the car though.

But I've worked out that you'd need 225/35 R19 tyres to get the same rolling radius, which gives you some different options for tyres. Goodyear F1's for example which are a personal favorite on my current MX-6 here in the land of rain (UK).

The only problem is though, it might upset the handling. You'd probably have more grip, but it might let go more suddenly and be less forgiving at the limit.

Ian.

TSW Rims!!!

Hey guys, haven't got one of these beasts yet... mines on order... Get it on the 15th of May. See we only get 2 delivered here to Adelaide, Australia every month, so you have to order it the way you want, then wait. I've ordered the base manual model in a plan to modify the standard features anyway. In concern to those rims. In Australia, TSW is the manufacturer of those rims. They're available in 17's-19's. My mate just bought them for his Mitsubishi Mirage in 17x7's. Hope that helps. Michael

Try comparing the side-on view with the side-on view of one with the standard UK 18" wheels. I'm fairly sure that it's got a larger wheel/tyre radius than the standard car. Thus it has effectively changed the gearing. And from the look of it, it looks as though it's going to cause rubbing.

Anyone agree?

Ian.

These are pretty similar, but they are a 1 piece wheel. Antera 343

I recognise that car!!!!!!
I am absolutely positive it is the dealer principals car from Barnetts Motor Group in Kirkcaldy Fife Scotland. His car had the absolute accessory works put on it prior to the wheels and he did say that it was going down to Bradford West Yorkshire to get fitted up with them.
You can see more of them at http://www.v12specialistcars.com/kah...nversions.html
or www.kahndesign.com

I have seen the car after fitment and it is a real cool add on but not for me with the bumpy Scottish roads!!

I asked over at the rx8ownersclub.co.uk forum and "specman" was able to recall the specifics. Thanks for the help.
