I think I found my new car.

I went to look at an rx8 today. I found it online and it looked pretty good in the pics. When i got to the dealer and got to look it over, it was nearly immaculate. Its a gray 2005 with 39k miles. Runs awesome, handles great and nearly flawless. While I was checking the car out, I found a shop manual in the trunk, which is a big plus in my book.

I worked a deal with the dealer and should the financing go through, come Monday I'll be a proud new owner of an rx8. I'm pretty excited about it. I cant wait until Monday.

Please read the manual...some don't and burn up the Rotary engine, not Knowing the engine is oil injected and needs some added occasionally.

I just got home with the car, after a long afternoon at the dealer. This car is so much fun! Its not the fastest car, but it feels really quick. I need to work on my shifting, I'm nowhere near as smooth as I am on my bike. I'm confident I'll get better in time though. I cant wait to drive to work tomorrow!

^^ making a smooth transfer from a bike to a car like this is a tough one let me say... i have a 07 zx6r and when the summer is here and its nice for a week straight i drive my bike everyday... once i get into the car to take her for a spin after that long wait my shifting is TERRIBLE at first... just an entirely different concept.. but congrats on the new buy man treat it well and drive it hard

I dont have any of my own pics yet, but here is a few from the dealer. Its nearly stock titanium gray rx8. I'm sure you guys have seen a lot of them, but they are pretty rare where I live. (SE MI)

I would have loved to get one with the GT package, but the one GT I found wasnt in very good shape.

i went to make sure you werent over paying. you could buy a good condition grand touring, with lower miles, private party at that price. but for a dealership, that is a decent price.

congrats on the car.

Hey, his rear bumper has the same issue as mine with the light. Looks darker than the rest of the car!
