clean tittle. about 37k miles. blown motor. almost $1900 dollar work cr kia emotion rims only about 1k miles on them no curb rash at all. they are gunmetal gray. but the rear tires need to be replaced since the distributor i bought them from had ordered my car the wrong offset. not a big deal it just needs tires that are low profile or you can only seat one passenger in the car due to the weight makes the wheel well rub on tire. the rims are a staggered set up wheels are 18'' 9.5in wide in rear and 8.5in in front. had a greddy turbo kit installed on the car did most of the work myself. turbo is not the reason to the blown motor as you may know there has been an extra 10year warranty on the rx8 motors for the apex seals and that is what i believe has popped in the motor. you can have the engine removed n sell the housing that isn't damaged for a couple hundred dollars. the car is in great condition and has one dent on the passenger rear door that is easily able to be popped out but also is barely noticeable unless looked for. on the driver side of the car it was sideswiped n has minimal damage only in the paint on the side of the bumper and little on the lower half of the door. i have a few aftermarket parts if interested just ask. car is great if new owner is looking to do a 93 rx7 motor swap or Ls1 swap. motor shouldn't be expensive to fix if in long island area i know a great little shop that does motor swaps for $1000 dollars. the interior of the car is in great condition clothe seats no nav no sunroof very comfortable. i have a carbon fiber interior trim kit on some of the dash, did not install all of it cause i thought it was a bit much for me but i do have the rest n will be included with the car. if any questions please ask i am planning on having pictures of the car up by friday or saturday.

Hm.. You don't think that the turbo caused the motor to blow, you installed a turbo yourself... What did you use to tune?

 

i installed with my boss at a shop i worked at. i go to school for auto tech. i was only running 5lbs of boost. i had it all professionally tuned $100 an hour on the dyno.

you sure about the first in the states? my friend who gave me the thought i think said has seen it before at some meets. might be that the person isnt on the forums ut hell id love to be one of the first handfulls to do the swap! im reaing more into it n on the cost. i found a Ls1 for only 1000 bucks so the thought is really pending n im really hoping isnt that bad of a swap. i can get motor swap for a grand i made a mistype above.
