The Mini gets Minier?
The mini coupe. If you had told me of such a thing, I'd scoff at you. However, it's kind of funky. I'd do need a drive in one for sure.

Mini has unveiled details and photos of a Mini Coupe Concept, set to debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. The Coupe builds on the Cooper platform (confusing, isn't it?), but ditches the useless rear seats in favor of a sloping roofline and a coupe's profile.
The Coupe is identical to the Cooper S from the B-pillars forward and under the hood is the 1.6-liter turbocharged heart that we've come to love in the high performance John Cooper Works Mini. Out back the Coupe's new look includes a spoiler edge on the classic floating white roof that is one of the hallmarks of Mini's aesthetic.

I have been waiting for them to make a car like this for forever. I said it when It came out, if they made a more coup(ish?) one I'd buy it.

that thing is awesome!! i've always hated the back seats. i guess they're useful to some, but stupid. i wanted them to basically build the current mini but remove the back seats entirely to create a honda fit-like hatchback...the fun of a mini with a little storage room. this is the next best thing...just make a legitimate coupe!! i'd totally get this a dd, pure win imo
