Smile FREE Custom Car and Import Car Show

Everyone,

Even though I work for a Lexus dealership, I drive a Mazda because you can't beat the combination of performance for the money. Plus Lexus doesn't make the GS or IS350 sedan in a manual transmission!

The automall I am working for has BMW, Acura, Infiniti and Lexus in Pleasanton, CA. East of San Francisco about 30 miles. We will be hosting a FREE car show to anyone who wants to attend and it will be FREE to anyone who wants to show off their ride. There will NOT, I repeat will NOT be any warranty police there! The service managers are all hyped after the last HIN show in Pleasanton and want to start being known as a mod-friendly dealership!

I am in charge of promoting this event and want to make it sucess and great time for everyone attending. There will be prizes, vendors, music and trophys. Oh, yeah BBQ will be table service! No standing in lines for food here!

We have room for about 150 cars, any make, any vintage, and any type of mods. So whether you have a Mazda, Mercedes, Porsche, Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Chevy, Ford, or Dodge. Bring it down! Registration will open up in by the 1st of September, so mark your calendars! Let's show some of these high dollar rollers what we can do for less than half of their cars cost!

Let me know what you members think! OH, If anyone is or knows of a performance vendor who wants to attend/participate space is FREE! :hoho: I am hoping to find a performance vendor who is willing to bring a portable dyno and do a discounted dyno pull day there. If you know anyone, have them contact me for details.

Extremely interested since I am local! I would love to enter my car, but unfortunately work on the weekend, and am moving away for college on the 12th, so if this event is earlier, I can make it. BTW... what times will this event run? Is it possible to bring my car later in the day? I may be able to get off work early.

Passed by the dealer earlier tonight on my way home from the gym and thought of something. Where do you guys actually plan to park the cars? Are you going to move all the new cars in back or something and position the imports there? Just wondering?

Talking More vendors added and info update

Hey guys,

Thanks for the local interest, I would love it if any one could represent the Rotory crowd. People are ALWAYS mystified and curious when it comes to your cars.

Hey no worries for anyone's car being perfect, unless that is how you roll

We are putting this show together for car people and those who love cars. No hardcore stuff just a low key event with the one thing in common for all of us,

A Passion for Things that Move You

But to answer your question, we will be hosting the car show behind the Lexus, Infiniti and previous Volvo buildings. We have over 350 parking stalls for both employee and service cars. Without overcrowding, we can accomodate 150 show cars and another 50 if necessary.

Our plans for that day is to use the ENTIRE back lot, moving out all employees and service cars for the show. The show cars will line up with the backs facking Hwy 580 and the vendors will line up where the customer service cars are normally parked facing the show cars. Food service will be at the end behind the previous Volvo dealership.

Is it free just to go down there and check out some of the cars or is there a fee?

FREE car show to anyone who wants to attend and it will be FREE to anyone who wants to show off their ride.

Import Models, that depends on the vendors. We will not be hosting any.

Man this looks like it is going to be a hit! I really wish I was going to be here when it takes place Do you guys plan to do more of these in the future, reoccurring on a monthly or quarterly basis? If so, when I come home from school, or next summer, would gladly attend, as well as show off my 8. A local form of HIN is something this town needs.

Sacramento? Take Hwy 5 South then 580 East.
On a Sunday, should take you about an hour - 15 minutes.

Map Link

Your ride looks sweet, would love to have it at the show!

Don't worry, this is a show for cars, not a event for show cars.

Yes, there will be some very nices rides, but trust me there will be mainly daily drivers. So a few dings, scratches, and paint chips will be the order of the day.

Bring it! I want more rotaries. Any RX-7s out there?
