WI Tri-Spoked Wheels

Does anyone know of a good set of 3 Spoke Rims. I am looking at either doing a 3 spoke or a think 5 spoke rim. I have a black rx-8 and I am blue accents/accessories. I want to do this Car in a black and dark blue so If anyone can give me a good set of 3 or 5 spoke and what do you guys think would look better, all dark blue or dark blue with a chrome lip?

3 Spoke wheels like the Advan Super Racing Version 2: http://www.mackinindustries.com/md/y...vanracing.html

are more for older japanese cars with aggressive body work in my opinion. I used to have these on my S2000 for a bit, but quickly sold them because they looked really odd on that car. I had a full J's Racing bodykit, but it still didn't look right in the end.

If you're looking for really nice 5 spoke wheels, I would say go for the Enkei RPO3s in SBC and with an aggressive fitment. There's a couple of members here that have them and they look fantastic!

Yeah, I've always loved tri-spoked wheels for some reason... but they are really hard to find. It doesn't seem like anyone makes them anymore.

Is there a performance draw back to them? Balance issues? Not strong enough, too much flex? idk...

I Don't know why no one makes them anymore, or why they are so hard to find. I think I might of found a nice set of 5 spoke tho.

IMO the 8 can pull them off if you've got the proper supporting mods. A while back I almost picked up a set of matte black v2's for $600!

Personally not my taste. The reason no one makes them anymore is because all the ricers are out of the 3 spoke trend.

And I agree with you swoope. DAMN They are ugly!

Passive aggressively, just trying to make the "eye of the beholder" point. Nothing serious
