Hey, I am looking into painting my badges black and tinting my tail lights. I have an 04 lightning yellow and was wondering if anyone has done this to the LY and could post some pics. Thanks!

 

since no ones gotten back yo u ill help i wanna paint my badges too but as far as the tinted tails goo i have a little secret butt shhhhhh!! lol i put panty hose over my tai lights to tint them they look great and u cant tell the difference, plus when a cop gives me crap for having them tinted i can just walk to the back of my car and rip it off and not get a ticket =) sneaky and effective. if u wanna see them take a look at my album.

there's a good way and a ghetto way to do something. guess which one pantyhose falls under...

 

I like not getting pulled over so I decided against tinting my tails

 

its really not ghetto at all i think it looks good. and u cant mess it up unlike praying ur tail lights. im just saying u dont have to try it but dont flame it till u atleast look at my pics.

 

if you like the look then that's all that matters. but calling it a ghetto mod isn't out of bounds.

 

i may be able to dig up a picture of tinted tails. I would suggest taking the tails and the badges to have tinted and cleared that way the badges will come out a black chrome color.

 

I had mine for about 2months now but heres wut my tinted tails......

 

^ Not legal in the State of Nevada. I don't want cops to stop me all the time because of tinted taillights. It will look good on a white but i'll pass.

 

^Its legal in the state of TEXAS. Cops dont bug me about it at all, i even roll around wit 5% tint all the way around and yet nothing.... RotaryMachineRx ask for pics so i threw mine out there....
