I have a 2005 Rx8 and recently replaced the tires with factory tires Bridgestone Potenza. At the same time I got a four wheel alignment and now the steering feels loose. The steering wheel has a good amount of play in either direction before the car responds. The steering was much more responsive before and "tight". Any suggestions?? I think I may take it to the dealer for them to have a look. Any help would be appreciated.

 

It sounds like they did not do the alignment right if there is a good amount of play in the steering. I would bring your car back and have them re-do it.
