RX-8 inspection in Montreal?

Looking to buy a 2004 RX-8, can anyone recommend a location to get it inspected before the purchase? Thanks!

Dealership is the best option in Montreal.

I would suggest Metro Mazda (used to be Gareau).

Ive had horrible experiences with most other Mazda dealers in Montreal.
Metro are really good. I was there last week to replace my CAT under warranty.

No fuss, no muss, just read the code, ordered a CAT and replaced it.

Its one of the few I havent tried.

Although I have had a REALLY horrible experience at Mazda President in the EAST which is owned by the same group (President/Gabriel).

They are most likely another gang there though, so it could go either way.
Check montrealracing.com for experiences at MAzda Gabriel.

Longueuil Mazda is awesome!

People there actually care about you they dont BS you like what im used from dealers (ford...).

Bought my (used) car at Duval Mazda tho (Boucherville), great service there too but I'm closer to Longueuil Mazda.

I ended up at Metro Mazda btw, overall great experience except my 8:20am appointment only got brought into the garage at 9:20am... They even called me 2 days later to find out if everything was satisfactory.

Glad to hear it.

Thats pretty standard everywhere.

If you dont have a 7am appointment (first cars in), then your appointment can end up anywhere at any time.

I just make mine for 7am and if I cant I plan on staying for a while or drop it off and use their shuttle service to work from home and they come back and get me.

K good I live super close to that dealer and they were pretty good with my Mazda6 and able to find the problems easily. You never know about these dealers, half of them don't know **** about Rx-8's.
