on christmas eve I received a joyous present from santa..a nice new rx8 in red with the black an' red leather with 230 screaming ponies under the hood...only done 500 miles in it but wow the thing loves its revs so have to be careful...specially with the oil consumption.

 

No you don't. Maybe a quart of oil every 2k. Not exactly going to break the bank.

 

I'm approaching 2,000 miles. Checked the oil on last fill-up and it's half-way between the two notches on the (painted) dip-stick. I figure to change the oil every 3500 or so, doubt I'm going to be adding that many quarts at the station.....
