I noticed that the b-pillars on my 05 Shinka have fingerprints and smudges, but what's weird is that they appear to be inside the acrylic!

There's no way to wash or buff them out.

Has anyone else ever encountered this?

I'm assuming the only fix is to replace them. If so, is there a DIY for this?

 

are you talking about the glossy black piece that has the word Shinka on it?

 

Try Mc Guiars plastic X polish.

 

did it always have 'smudges' on the inside or did you just recently notice it?

try a polish first and see how it goes.
