LA Probelms with subwoofer after line out converter install

I installed my amp and line out converter today. I hooked it up and everything is good except for bass is really loud in comparison to the other sounds but I haven't adjusted my amp settings, which I dont think is causing the problem I have now. When Im listening to the radio or a CD the sub will just randomly produce a continuous line of bass and its loud. It wont go off when I turn the radio either, it will only go away in about 15 seconds or if I turn the car off. I've had plenty of systems, none with a LOC, and never had this problem so Im most certain its the LOC.

I fixed it by adjusting , or more like playing with, the LOC and amp settings till I got good sound. Posting my solution for reference to anyone that has the same problem.

when you tap into the rear speakers, you can get some odd effects. Like slamming the trunk causing a bass tone to play. Slamming the trunk moves the speaker cones, which produce a current, which the LoC picks up and causes the sub to play, shaking the rear deck speakers and producing more current causing the line output converter to continue sending signal to the sub.

A few people have run into this sort of problem. Glad you've figured it out.
