newbie to the 8

I am new to the rotary world and want to know from all you experience owner. Why is the hp/torque for the auto is higher than the 6 speed? Does this mean the car will be slowing down when more than 2 adults sitting in it? The 150+lb/ft of torque is the only thing stopping me from purchasing one. The extrior /interior and price is just exceptional.

Drive one to answer your torque question.

the torque is higher in the auto, the hp is higher in the 6spd.

Don't listen to the bare numbers. Force is not directly proportional to torque alone!
Drive one and make up your mind then.

I tested both last night and the manual felt stronger (although slightly) but I only felt the difference when the auto would've hit the redline like when the manual's at about 8k rpm.
