New Wheels - Enkei RP03's with Toyo R1R's

I was going to wait and take some nice pictures with a pretty background, but I'm impatient, so here they are in my driveway

Specs:
Wheels: Enkei RP03 18x9 +40
Tires: Toyo R1R 265/35R18

Enjoy!

Looks good man, Are these replacing the RPF1's and putting you in STX for next season?

Ross_Dawg - my guess is because these fit very nicely for the application without being overkill wide.

Yes. I actually had two sets of RPF1's. I sold one, and I'm using the others for street duty.

TopGear nailed it. SCCA STX class autocross limits rim width to 9" and tire width to 265mm. This is the most aggressive fitment (with rolled fenders) without running excessive camber.

^Well let me know how things work out in STX for you. I'm still considering getting some 17x9's and running STX next year instead of STU, but still undecided.

And ever since I saw those wheels on Anthony's car I loved them, great choice!

Good rim choice. But to me, tire width is a bit too wide for the 8.

I did not. I was in a time crunch to get them on the car for tomorrow's test and tune.

Enkei claims they are only 18.3 lbs, although I suspect that may be a typo:
http://www.enkei.com/spec_charts/RP03.pdf

Toyo says 26 lbs for the tires:
http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/proxes-r1r

That would put total weight somewhere around 44.3 lbs per corner.

^ Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. We'll find out tomorrow how they handle an autocross course.

Beautiful! Are you scraping? I think that offset is perfect - hope I'm happy with the +45 of the RFP1s on order.

The tires scrape a tiny bit (not enough to worry about) when entering my driveway, but not at all during normal driving or on the autocross course (my front and rear fender lips are rolled). The stance with the 18x9.5 +45 RPF1's is almost identical. I think you will be very pleased.
