Driving to Okanagan.... RX-8 or Mazda6?

This summer, we'll be heading to Kelowna. I'm tempted to take the RX-8 over our Mazda6 wagon. The 6 would be more comfortable and would cruise along fine. But nothing like driving the rx-8 down Hwy 3 twisties and around the wine region.
I'm in a dillema. inputs welcome!

You write this on an 8 forum.. ahahaha psychology 101 tells me that you're looking for re-assurance that the RX-8 is the choice vehicle for your vacation

IMHO... on the side... you really should take the 8 !!!!

Take the 8. You will enjoy the drive. Just make sure you got some extra oil in the trunk.

Definately the 8.

I would go through Hope ---> Merritt ---> Aspen Grove ---> Kelowna

and come back through ----> Penticton ----> Keremeos ---> Princeton ---> Hope

Oh and dont forget to stop and eat at Salty's Beach House Resto in Penticton.

I've taken my 8 to Kelowna annually since I bought it in 2004. Take the old Hwy 1. Nicer twisty road and scenery! (And less cops)

Thanks! I really want to take the 8 although in terms of practicality, the 6 wagon would make more sense especially we'll be bringing along our 2yo daughter. She likes the rx-8. But this would be a long trip.
Also we got a small umbrella stroller, so space is not an issue. Unless we start picking up lots of wine and fruits. eck!

Take the 8! One year I took the family up to Raduim hot springs. We could have taken the Rav4 but the 8 was much more fun. Also on the plus side, the passaenger (wife) can;t see the speedo from her seat!

Defnitely take the 8. And if you get a chance try the road along the west side of Okanagan Lake, from the westbank side of Kelowna to Vernon, it is a hoot.

And, Quail's gate now serves one of the best lunches in the region.

Cheers,
