Another Noob with an intro.
Good morning folks!
Well, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 2006 RX-8 MT (Winning Blue) back on May 5th. I immediately searched the net for info on the RX8 and found this forum. I've been lurking ever since.
Background Info:
Almost always been a sports car owner.
2x 74' Triumph Spitfires
72 DATSUN 240Z
a *cough* 78 Chev Z-28 (ok.. not really a sports car.. but at least a sporty car)
a (zoom zoom) 83 Mazda RX-7 (first gen, 12A)
and a 94 Ford Probe (its a semi sports car.. kinda.. I guess)
and now the 06 Rex-8
Purchased it with 51K miles for ~13,000 (which I thought was a HECK of a deal)
Obviously used, so I don't know the history of the car. Looks like the previous owner didn't take REAL good care of it... lots of lil door dings, scratches, etc.
I'm looking to Autocross (SOLO II) this car, so I hope to be involved in the racing forum (with a LOT of questions, most likely). Also looking to TSD rally the beast.
Anywho, looking forward to hearing from you all. Yes, I know.. No pics.. it didn't happen. Don't post without facts.
Any advice from you long time owners would be welcome and appreciated.

Welcome from another noob - 1 week owner of an 05 AT Touring WWP as of today. So far, I hate watching this car sit still.
