So, I've been thinking about a way that I could contribute to the community and I came up with this idea.

I'd like to make a website containing and organizing all of the DIY's in the DIY forum. I could also take the time to reformat them into a printable format.

What do you think? Would that be stealing from the forum? or would that be appreciated? Thanks for your opinions.

 

Sooo even though nobody had any opinions.... I started the site anyways. Here is a link. Keep in mind that this is the basic crude layout of what I'm going to do.

http://dyndns.org < get a free dns name...and dl the client...run it on your server....and make sure you foreword ports 80/81.

 

yeah, I forgot to turn my laptop on this morning. It should be up and running now. I used vyndictive's oil catch can diy as a test subject. I'm still working out what I want for the default layout but once I do that I'll start cracking away at it.

This is really rather useless until you get it hosted somewhere else.
There are a ton of places to do that, but having it on your laptop is(as you know) kinda ridiculous.
