Fog light re-wire/re visited

By the looks of the new post and thread, I'm a little late for some of the MODS that I would like to post, but I will still do this one.
This MOD is to re-wire the fogs lights to work in conjuction with the parking lights.
I see that Rx8 GURU Magnesium has done this MOD to work like driving/running lights which looks great, but I think that the wire is much to thin to be placed to a constant or ignition (12V) power source, but I may be wrong. So here we go.

1. Remove black plastic Relay/Fuse cover located on the driver side engine compartment.

2.Remove relay by pressing the clips on the for corners of this tray (4 Clips). Becareful not over stretch the main power cables. Play with the tray a little to position it to get acces to the bottom of the wires.

3. On the plastic cover there is a relay/fuse indentifier. Located the Fog Relay. There is a relay labeled (R.FOG) that is the wrong one. Below the tray, on the bottom of the Fog relay you will see the Brown wire in pics (same wire in Mags post). Cut it in half-CAUTION: DO NOT CUT THE WIRE TO CLOSE TO THE TRAY-give yourself some slack. Pic on the bottom thumbnail.

4.Cap of the brown wire that goes away from the relay. Electrical tape is good, but a white cap is better.

5.Solder a piece of wire of equal or greater gauge on to other piece of the brown wire. The one coming from the relay.

6. Next if you look on the inside of the plastic cover relay/fuse indentifier-look for a red 10amp fuse labled tail lamp. There 2 wires there (black/red-Red/white). These wires are the parking lights. Connect the Brown wire there. It dose not matter which- I used the Black/Red. To insure saftey, replace the 10amp tail lamp fuse with a 15amp one.

7. And there you have it! The chime still works, I you leave the lights on. You can still controll the on/off fog light switch. If you leave the fog switch in the on position, the fog light will flash with the remote security system.

is there any way to wire the fogs to the interior lights so they would come on when the car is unlocked AND to the acc relay?

Probably a dumb question, but will they also stay on when running the low beams. I am hoping they do. Thanks
