I need a carbon fiber hood It has to be vented so that it will help cool my turbo 8 I was looking for the Seibon ts2 carbonfiber hood does anyone have one. A shop i my area wants $1200 plus tax for it I live in toronto, Canada and I will also need it shipped to L6X 4R7 please let me know asap.

you dont NEED a cf hood.

you could take a pick axe to your current one.

 

weight reduction wont be 50% though. it MIGHT look pimp. and you can install it yourself in 15 minutes. a friend is useful.

 

im about to sell a perfect chaser vented hood, basically just like the seibon one but in FRP..its going up this week with abunch of other stuff, PM me if interested

Point me in the direction of pics of that hood please. I'm also in the market for one, and would need to know if it is paintable.

 

You won't see much (if any) weight reduction with a CF hood on an 8.

In fact, some of them are actually heavier

 

I don't want it really for weight reduction but it helps, I need it for more cold air for my turbo so it stays a little cooler.
