IL Even after Eagle One Never dull, exhaust tips kinda black

My exhaust is stock and I have used Eagle one a few times and they still have a black gunk on them. I tried rubbing pretty hard but it wont come to a nice finish. Comments? Help?

I'm assuming you're referring to the OUTSIDE of the tips? Inside will always turn black after driving.

Try using English Custom Polish

3m makes a WHITE synthetic steel wool pad that works great! Just put some polish on the pad and rub. They will look almost new again.

Eagle One polish/wax is for painted surfaces. As Jedi cites you need a true metal polish.

This stuff here: with some #0000 steel wool and some good ol' elbow grease. will get rid of everything, makes it nice and shiney. Made my gold exhaust tips look brand new. And you can get it at pepboys.

I can't remember exact price but it's less than 10 bucks.

Although my exhaust tips weren't particularly dirty desiz, you inspired me to use my Griot's Polish 3 (the more abrasive) on them. Sweet!
