very nice. Still amazes me that for the relative lack of power/torque of this car that it still gets the reviews it does by people who are also able to test drive cars that are much more expensive and higher powered. They really appreciate and understand the entire driving experience this car provides despite it's shortfalls. Just imagine the review if that car had the 16x w/at least 50 more hp!

Mazda forgot about the 8 entirely when it comes to advertising. I truly don't get that.

Yeah, I don't know HOW they got away without advertising the RX-8. It just boggles my mind.

The cost of advertising combined with the fact that the RX8 only sells a couple hundred units per month is what killed it.

Theres no way that they could justify it. Sure giving it more advertising would generate demand, but when they advertise a Mazda 3 and get 10 times the response and sales numbers, why would they do anything for the 8?

the real reason for the low demand of the r3 is the high demand of the mazdaspeed8.

i heard that when it accelerates, it stays in place and the world turns for it.

he gets the passion that an rx8 driver has about there car... and that's why he doesn't care about the lack of power... all he cares about is the overall package

no, your car has 232 hp as well . at the crank.

nothing different except extra oiling, different filter location, different oil pump.

If only it got better milage. I've gone from 8 to TL to 8 to a ten year old pickup right now. Boy I miss my 8, but even this S10 pickup gets better milage than the 8. Ouch. Plus no payments is a plus. Actually driving it is a minus but can't have everything I suppose.
