Push the piston back into the caliper with your hand, put the pads back into it, slide it over the rotor and bolt it down. Use the caliper on the other front wheel as a reference. (Do not disassemble the other caliper until you have successfully put the first one back together, so you have a reference when you forget how to put the other one back together.)

http://isomerica.net/~fluffy/Ren/RX8%20FSM/ Factory service manual is available here. it should detail how the caliper goes together as well.

Mu ha ha... pictures don't show.

You need a C Clamp for the front calipers and a needle nose pliers for the rear.

Go to DIY for brake chane.

Thank you all so much for responding. I appreciate all the feedback. I panicked because I am new at this and was trying something very different for me. I did get the caliper back on but now the brake light will not go off. I think I need to bleed the brake line. Thank God I only did one wheel at a time so I can isolate the problem. I appreciate the link to other sites that will be very helpful for me. I am deterimine to finish this project myself. You guys understand how we RX8 Lovers feel about our Babies. Thanks again I really appreciate the responses.

you have to bleed the whole system, last thing you want is a random air bubble in your brake lines

just change your brake fluid.

that pumps all old fluid and bubbles out.

air compresses, brake fluid doesn't your foot would go to the floor when you hit the brakes and you wouldn't stop

Yep, and you can use an inexpensive gravity feed tool rather than an expensive pump:

Additionally, you may want to consider installing speedbleeders since you've already got the wheels off and are working on the brakes:

Thumbs up Bleeding the brakes

After trial and error, I was told to start over and bleed the back brakes 1st starting on the right side. Then move to the front and start with the right side again. I did have someone pumping the brakes inside the car at the same time. I do want you guys to know I really appreciate the help. Thank alot.

That's good advice, bleeding from longest to shortest run.

Glad you got it sorted, and enjoy your bask in the warm glow of self-accomplishment.

btw: down the road do get the speedbleeders; a really elegant solution.

Got mine from Summit Racing. Don't forget to get the bag/tubing as well.
