Some photos show the red leather inserts are very similar to the velocity red paint, other show the leather colour is mure muted.

Can anyone who has seen the red car tell me for sure. I need to know soon so I can choose a colour (either titanium gray or the red, with the red leather).

NO! The red leather is dull but the red mica paint is beautiful!

I think the red leather will look better with silver/titanium/black.

Saw it for myself last night.

 

Red w/red interior didn't look that great, IMHO.

Why, oh why didn't they give us the grey interior from the X-men car for production?!?!?!



The red is too loud for most people, and the tan looks like well, poo, for lack of a better word. The grey looks so yummy and would go great with any exterior color, but they denied it to us! Why, Mazda?? Why????

 

Puppy1 is correct... They don't match. The Leather is lighter. Here's a pic I took yesterday:

 

But don't let that detur you from getting the velocity mica red. It is da bomb (okay that is a lame attempt at being "hip")!

Just get it in cloth or black only leather.

 

But at the same time, look at how the colors of the car came out. In that picture, the metal looks orange, and the leather looks pink.

It might end up being a mis-match, but I'd wait until I saw it in person before I made a decision on it. Although, admittedly, that's awful hard to do if you are ordering it online today.

PS : Does Somebody has photos from the black leather or black fabric seats ???

 

None of the show cars that anyone has had access to yet had that combination.

Too late - I've already ordered a Velocity Red with black/red interior. I am glad to hear the Velocity Red exterior is 'da bomb' (couldn't find an example of this colour on other Mazda cars as you can Titanium Gray). And a more muted red for the leather interior might be easier on the eyes in the long run.

And I agree the black/grey leather would look stunning on the darker cars.
