I have been searching for a thread for this but haven't been able to find anything. I looked through the DIY thread and found everything BUT that.

If anyone has a heads up on this let me know. I just need to know if it is pre-wired for that in my Sport...if not guess i'll have to wire it into my map lights?

it is not wired, and the mirror button is different.

I'm not sure I understood what you are looking for... is it this?
Or rather how to install the stock homelink/auto dimming mirror instead of the stock regular mirror?
As swoope said, there is no pre-wiring for the stock homelink mirror, so you have to get creative and get the power from somewhere else - but then the provided link should give some idea for that as well.

Anyway...that link is exactly what I needed. There is a member on the forum selling their Homelink mirror and I wanted to install it in my non-homelink 8.
