Hi guys i'm new to the forums

My Name's David gunna be 19 at the end of may and the thought of getting my first car is taking over my mind...

I was reading on the forum a few days back about the addiction of this car and i'm telling you i've been hit bad. I can't function normaly without looking at some vids on youtube or checking local stores for new arrivals of used 8's.


My Real question to you guys is that... i'm 18 years old atm.... I'm looking for work and i really want an rx8. There are some affordable one's here where i am (Montreal, Canada) at around 14-15 000 canadian with very decent km etc...

Is it worth it. I mean the insurance is going to kill me on this car but i've already Worked just to be able to continue my paintball addiction so i'm thinking If i blew 5 grand a year for paintball i can certainly do it for this car...


Has anyone had any real regrets getting this as their first car. And i'm no Bill Gates here ill be working at minimum wage.

I got mine at age 17, dipped into college savings and worked 3 jobs while going to college fulltime.

Ill put it to you this way, Im 21 and still own it.

 

yea I got two jobs and everyday I drive to work I know its worth it. Get a manual though, more fun at 9k!!!

 

Dam Staright im gunna get manual lol my mom will never be able to touch my car she cant drive manual lol its all part of my plan muhahaha
