gauge illumination

gauge illumination

i have seen pics of the gauges lit up white with the little blue spot lights on too ( the ones that make your display glow blue when your cars off)...and my question is how do you do this..?? I cant figure out how to turn the blue ones on while its white?

You can't. you only see blue before you start the car, as far as I can see.

At night turn the dimmer light down until it clicks to "off". this will turn your gauge lighting to blue. Cool for night driving.

Roll the illumination switch all the way up to increase the brightness and it will then click, giving you the white although non adjustable bright illumination you seek!

As far as I can tell - the blue ones stay on all the time. If the alternate illumination is dim (white or red), you can see the blue, but even if it's bright you can see the blue on the sides/edges of the needles etc.

The blue stays on...infact, if anyone has ever watched their tachometer needle as they rev up at night...there comes to a certain point...somewhere around 5-7K RPM where there is a little blue trail on the needle because it catches the blue illumination. Really cool
