Bought this about 2 weeks ago but had to pick it up in Omaha (bought it from my brother-in-law).

Haven't done much other than take off the lip spoiler and put on the R3 Wing spoiler, and tint the windows.

Been browsing the forums for about 2 weeks to read up about all your cars and looking at all the awesome Rx-8's you all have! Glad to finally post my own!

 

Very nice! I just bought my 09 RX-8 in Sparkling Black Mica last Wednesday. The gold flake looks amazing in sunlight!

I cant seem to find any sites that have aftermarket parts for the 2009...anything to body kits to engine parts seems to be non-existent...but perhaps its my noobie-ness that is eluding me. lol.

 

What did you do with the lip spoiler? Going to sell it?

Did the lip spoiler drill holes match up with the spoiler?

 

No they didnt match up...they (the dealerships body shop) had to fill in the holes and repaint the entire trunk.

Come to think of it I dont think I paid them for anything, other than the spoiler...and didnt even ask for the lip spoiler. Are they expensive or worth selling?

 

def. worth selling people are always looking for lip spoilers especially an oem one.

Well I guess it was a fair trade then.

I recently asked how much a new lip spoiler in brilliant black was from one of the discount Mazda dealer parts and it was (drum roll) $505.34.
