the past two days i've had a warning light come three times on while driving, the yellow triangle with the car swerving.
i'm not doing anything to set off the error, it's all been under normal driving conditions, however it doesn't seem like drivability is affected.
the second time this happened the tach blipped down to zero right as the light came on then shot right back up and the light came on.
does anyone know what might be causing this, sensor? fuse? thanks

 

Sounds like a loose battery post connection - the steering is very sensitive to loss of power.

 

Thanks Stealth, just scraped away a few layers of corrosion from the terminal, most likely the cause
