When I would lock my doors from the inside/or unlock my door the parking lights would flash front and back lights...after I installed LED parking lights I have noticed neither would flash anymore....anyone know what is causing this NOT to work????

 

It's possible that the circuitry used to trigger the light flash upon lock/unlock is resistive in nature. The LED's draw far less power than the OEM bulbs and therefore that could be the reason. Just guesing tho'.

 

What exact LED's did you put in?
Also..........you may try flipping them around..........one at a time.

 

The LED were purchased from RX8 Strakes. I have a 6 bulb LED...but going throught the motions last night and after reading the manual to and to check any fuses may have been blown, I found out that i left my trunk open!!!! I had left my trunk open for TWO days....I felt like an ***!!!! The trunk is heavy and during driving I would expect it to jump up while in motion....I guess the door ajar signal doesnt reconize the trunk...LOL BUt fellas thanks for the feedback!!!! While Im here I also bought a 9 LED bulb LED. It seems not to fit in the parking light housing but the 6 LED does....so I just put the 6 as my parking light and the 9 in my inside door lights....anyways til the next time. PEACE!

 

Yep, I heard that about the 9 LED. There's a thread that someone made about it not fitting.

LOL.....I could only imagine if I had taken it to the stealership and been charged on sum BS story they wouldve given me.....GEEZ the TRUNK.....
