unless you're looking for a salvage vehicle, $6.5k is low even for a high mileage 04 AT.

ehh thanks guys lol its just that ive seen a few around here for 8-9k @ 100ishk miles i figured maybe just maybe id find one with like i duno 200k lol for 6.5

as others said, the prices have come down quite a bit but 6.5k is kinda ridiculous. for 6.5k you can get yourself an awesome na miata, tho. 9k would actually be quite do-able, especially for an auto

 

Well..

You can't afford an RX-8 with 200k miles... I'd be willing to bet (if there are even any around yet) They'd be just about ready for a new motor, and out of warranty.. $$ Not to mention the other parts.

Just save up and buy a mid-low mileage 06+

Can I ask why? if you have a 6.5k budget, why would you buy an 8, you'll spend that much on gas in just a few years....

 

Good point! BTW I dont mind the gas mileage becuz I knew what it was when i bought the car. But why is the fuel tank so small? I think the fd's had like a 20 gal tank. The majority of my driving is city so I dont get a lot of miles per tank.
