i know i saw a writeup on the valet 561r...im also using the im04 bypass, but...im not sure as to what the rx and tx wires connect to...i see the 4 wires on the key cyl harness, but what wire colors are the ones that get tapped into?? (the green (tx) and pink (rx) and also where does the ground when running (brown) on the bypass go on my viper791xv alarm?

sorry if this is a repost, i searched and searched, but cannot find this info. thanks.

i found the rx and tx wires...and on the viper ribbon harness...i connect the brown (ground when running) to the blue (- status output) wire on the remote start.

also, the brown brake shutdown wire... (on the alarm) it does not stop the remote start from turning off...i have it to the black/blue wire on the brake sensor..and tested the wire before and after it was connected.

the car cranks when the key is in the key cyl...doesnt start.
the car rem starts ONLY when the key is in the key cyl and turned to accessory.
and it will still try to crank even while started., the brake shutdown wire does nothing.
