As always, it's the first Saturday of the month, now at the new location in Pt. Loma. We've been coming here since late 2008 and it has worked out well. Lots of parking; good food; even better people!

Well people drive in snow so rain should be no big deal anyway I wish I could go. But I got split days off

 

I will be coming in this Sunday the 15th and will be staying at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina, the glass eliptical shaped building right downtowne, til the 21st. I will be in training from 8am til 4:30 so if anyone want to have a mini meet that would be awesome to see some west coast rotaries...

Anyone wanna meet up or maybe catch some dinner,,,,

I'll be there for sure. I've been meaning to go, but work has been getting in the way

 

I showed up last time..... but it was already late... I saw a WB and a VR around the area, so I guess they were already leaving.

When I showed up, there was an SS a 2nd gen, and I think a Suby there... so I just drove off. Had the wife with me and she wanted to go eat somewhere else.

 

How many cars usually show up?

 

Car count?

We can have anywhere from, perhaps, half a dozen to 15, perhaps more. Just depends. Some folks have jobs; some run late. A lot of reasons why someone might not show up.

Last month it was the threat of rain. I live more on the coast so had no real problem. Other lived inland and had issues with rain so did not show. The idea is to keep trying to make it and grow the size. I'll bet for March there will be many more.

My problem is that I will be back east in DC so will miss March. I will still put out an announcement and push an upcoming east county drive that others have asked me about. Proabbly for the latter part of March.

Anyway, if you show, stick around until at least about 1130. As noted, we eat lunch about noon. Depending on the crowd, we might be hanging around there 'til only 1:00 pm, or perhaps even 2:00 pm or later. That's usually my absolute latest time, depending on what else is going down.

If you do come out and do not see anyone in the parking lot, take a look inside. We are usually just to the right of the main door.

Yeah, I showed up closer to 1. Hopefully I'll be able to make it next weeked.

 

I'm looking fwd to meeting other RX owners. When i had my Dodge SRT4, we had quite a few meetings and some good times. I'm hoping this will be the same way. I'm new to rotary's so i'll be looking for some knowledge and advise on tuning. thanks!

I go to san diego all the time!! i have mad FAMILY out there and go to PANN auto to check out their RAYS i wanna order.... where the hell did this meet start at!!! fudge man i have to go to court on the 25th because speeding (CHP), imma be there from the 23-29-so looks like i wont make that meet!!! i go to san diego a lot so ill prob make the next one. f-man change it to the 29th and i can make it.
