Window Tint in Central Jersey question
i'm thinking about getting my windows tinted, i live in manville nj, and am just wondering a few things, i usually do all my own work, redid my headliner in suede, installed a metra kit, etc, but i'm thinking about having someone do this cause i'm afraid i'm gonna mess it up, anyway, what places around the area are decent, and secondly if i get the front windows done, how much do you think the cops would mess with me, considering i don't speed all the time, anyway thanks for any input
I recomend:
Auto Image
6 Frelinghuysen Ave.
Raritan, NJ 08869
908-218-9757
Its right off the Somerville Circle, I got the windows done on my 8 there.... actually all of the windows I have ever got tinted was from them... they do a great job and are reasonably priced
To answer your second question: it depends on how dark you get them done... from my professional opinion I wouldn't go darker than 15% on the front... and it also depends on the cops in your area.

I would go with Auto Image on RT 1 in Edison. I would also ante up on the 3M film. Has lifetime warranty on if it discolors or bubbles versus the generic tint (1 year warranty). Also the fronts......IMO I wouldn't go darker than 35% on the fronts. Flashy sports car + dark tinted windows = your just asking to get pulled over. I would also look into a private inspection place cuz if you go to reg DMV for inspection, you're going to get rejected just for the front tints alone.
thanks for all the input, i'll check out auto image in raritan considering its only a few minutes from my house, and i don't plan on going too dark, i still wanna be able to see when i drive at night, considering thats when i do most of my driving anyway
